Brian Scherman is a partner at Balfour Moss LLP (Saskatoon Office). He concentrates on Corporate and Commercial Litigation, Administrative and Employment Law, Construction Law, Insurance, and Professional Negligence and Discipline litigation.

Brian’s practice has emphasized complex and challenging litigation and he has been counsel on many of the more complex and significant trials and hearings in Saskatchewan. Over his career, he has conducted cases in all Saskatchewan Courts, the Federal and Supreme Courts of Canada, Labour Relations Board, Boards of Arbitration, Professional Discipline Bodies and various other boards and tribunals. Brian also acts in a general counsel role and as general legal advisor to various businesses. A significant proportion of Brian’s practice is referrals from other legal counsel.

Brian has been a sessional lecturer at the University of Regina (Business Law), the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law (Natural Resources Law) and has lectured frequently for Continuing Legal Education Saskatchewan on topics related to Litigation, Advocacy, Administrative Law and Employment Law. He has authored published papers on legal matters and is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association.
