Charmaine Panko is a collaborative lawyer at Balfour Moss LLP, and is also a trained mediator.
Charmaine has experience in civil litigation, administrative law, corporate and commercial law,
family law as well as wills and estates.
Charmaine sits on the board of Collaborative Lawyers of Saskatchewan. She is a member of the
editorial board of the Canadian Bar Association (Saskatchewan Branch) publication,
Bar Notes and
was also an editor for the
Saskatchewan Law Review. She volunteers with ProBono Students Canada
and is a mentor with the CBA student mentoring program. Charmaine recently facilitated an eight week
introduction to law for homeschooled teens for the Public Legal Education Association. Charmaine is a
member of the Canadian Bar Association, Christian Legal Fellowship and the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
She authored
R. v. T.D.P.: A Young Offender, His Sentencing Circle, and the YCJA, Sask.L.R. (2004).
She is actively involved in the community as the executive producer of The Great Plains Comedy
Festival, treasurer for The Phantom Flyers Atom hockey team, volunteer instructor and board
member of the Young Actor’s Club and facilitator of the Calvary Church children’s program.
