Peter T. Bergbusch is a partner at Balfour Moss LLP with a Civil Litigation
practice. Peter’s practice has included cases in the areas of administrative
law, professional discipline, defamation, wrongful dismissal, arbitration,
insurance, municipal and constitutional law. Peter is bilingual and offers
legal services in French as well as English.
Peter has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, Saskatchewan Court of
Appeal, British Columbia Court of Appeal, Federal Court of Appeal, Federal
Court (Trial Division) and trial courts in Saskatchewan. Peter was co-counsel
in the landmark case,
Duke v. Puts (2001), 204 Sask. R. 130 (Q.B.).
Peter co-authored a paper entitled
The Pre-Trial Conference for the
Saskatchewan Legal Education Society Inc. for use at the bar admission course
and legal seminars. Peter also wrote
Secondary Picketing in Saskatchewan: A
Functional Analysis of O.K. Economy v. R.W.D.S.U., Local 454,
Saskatchewan Law Review (1994).
Peter is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association, Saskatchewan Trial
Lawyers Association, Regina Bar Association and l'Association des juristes
d'expression francaise de la Saskatchewan, and is presently serving as the
District Governor for the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association. Peter also
sits as a commissioner of the Automobile Injury Appeal Commission in
Saskatchewan.
