Reginald A. Watson, Q.C. is a partner at Balfour Moss with over 25 years experience in civil litigation. Since 1986 Reg's practice has been in areas of law related to medicine, injury, disability and employment. Reg's practice is primarily in fields that require a working knowledge of insurance, medicine, economics and accounting.

Reg has represented the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region in the majority of the medical malpractice and negligence claims that it has been involved in over the course of the last several years. Reg acts regularly on behalf of various insurance companies and defends and prosecutes claims in a variety of tort or tort related actions.

In addition to health law, Reg has acted on in a number of commercial litigation trials over the past five years. Reg regularly appears as counsel before the Court of Queen's Bench and Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan and has also appeared before the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan, the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Reg has conducted as many civil jury trial as anyone in Saskatchewan in the last several years and he is particularly adept in cross-examining expert witnesses, using innovative demonstrative evidence techniques and delivering impassioned jury addresses.

Reg is a member of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association (Past-President), the Canadian Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Defence Research Institute, in addition to the Regina and Canadian Bar Associations and the Law Society of Saskatchewan. Reg's contributions to the legal profession include numerous papers in the area of civil litigation, and active participation in many of the committees and associations in his areas of practice.
